Welcome to troop53.net! Boy Scout Troop 53 offers Scouts an outstanding year-round, Patrol-based, outdoor-oriented program. Our Scouts have the opportunity to camp a minimum of 28 days and nights per year with a week-long summer camp being the highlight. Other outdoor programs include hiking, backpacking, canoeing, skiing, bicycling, rock climbing, rappelling, and much more. About every 2 years we offer older Scouts the opportunity to participate in a High Adventure trip to places such as Philmont Scout Ranch and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.

Troop 53 is also very involved in community service. We participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program of St. Clair County, Scouting for Food, the Postal Worker Food Drive, and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

If you live in the Belleville, Illinois area we invite you to come and visit or join us!
