Live in Swansea, work in St. Louis, worship in Fairview Heights. Love being a husband and father.

Adult Scouting experience:

Today, I have the opportunity to support scouting programs for boys scouts (and girls scouts - sorry guys). The organization I lead, Jefferson National Parks Association, is a nonprofit organization that promotes education programs in national parks. Many of our programs are conducted at St. Louis' Gateway Arch and historic Old Courthouse. I enjoy providing opportunities for scouts to participate in merit badge programs that relate to our national parks.
Some of the programs we make possible.

Favorite memory of Troop 53:

So many good times in Troop 53 — this was the era when we met at Whiteside School, then Belle Valley North. Kevin Mahoney was around back then too! Trips to Philmont were awesome (Silver on the sage, sunlit skies above, aspen covered hills, country that I love — I still remember that song), summers at Camp Joy, camping and hiking with my Dad, baking cobblers in dutch ovens late into the night, the National Scout Jamboree in Virginia, the World Scout Jamboree in Canada, earning Eagle, Order of the Arrow Vigil Ceremony competition, being called "Grover" by Kevin, taking the Computer Merit Badge when Apple computers just came out, camping in freezing weather (well, maybe that's not my favorite memory but it's a memory), typesetting the Taleka Lodge newsletter before word processors, popcorn sales, Scoutmasters Joe Giger "Bear", Paul Hollansworth, learning to splice ropes... and so much more.
