5/6/12 — Court of Honor Postponed

The Court of Honor originally scheduled for Tuesday May 8 has been postponed until after Summer Camp. June 19 is now the tentative date but not on the calendar yet.

4/26/12 — Interesting article

From Make magazine: Time For Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts 2.0? Some interesting ideas. Unfortunately some of the blog replies devolve into the "politics" of the BSA, but still a good read.

4/17/12 — Summer Camp 2012 Information is live!

We finally have information from the Council and can pass it along to you. There are a number of changes and some exciting new programs. See it all here! The "poll" that was previously available is now closed.

3/30/12 — 88 MPH in a DeLorean

I was doing some Googling this evening and the Flux Capacitor kicked in. We have this Boys' Life "Scouts In Action" story framed in our Scout room but I never thought I would see it online. Googlebooks has it: "He Saved His Family From The Fire". When you're done looking at that article come back here and I'll give you "the rest of the story."

3/30/12 — PLC Meeting

The Patrol Leader Council meeting was held on 3/28/2012. The upcoming Camporee was discussed as well as an exciting upcoming Patrol competition. Check with your patrol leader on how your Patrol will be involved.

3/28/12 — Permission/Registration Forms

Permission/registration forms for the Spring Camporee at Camp Joy, April 20-22, are now live in the Event Forms section. This marks the debut of the "new and improved" online event forms (paper is so last century!). Be aware that no print forms will be available for this event.

3/24/12 — Summer Camp Poll

While we are waiting breathlessly for the council to get its act together and publish the Camp Leaders Guide for this year Mr. Ambrow thought it would be a good idea to get an indication of interest in Summer Camp. Please take this poll (closed) whatever your intentions are.

3/23/12 — Rosters Updated

Adult, Youth and Patrol rosters have been updated over the last couple of weeks to reflect the adult leadership changes and the addition of a whole new patrol. See them in the Members Area.
